Using KhaataPOS means you accept these terms for the workspace, trial, billing, and storefront. Issued by RangSilk Private Limited.
These terms are between you (the business that creates a workspace, or a visitor using our public site) and RangSilk Private Limited, operating KhaataPOS from New Delhi, India. Questions: Contact us, support@khaatapos.com, or +91 78272 82185.
KhaataPOS provides multi-tenant operations software: POS, inventory, people, books, and an optional customer storefront. Workspace URLs are unique. Business names are not. We may update features as we ship; we will not describe unreleased modules as live on the public site.
You must be 18 or older and able to form a contract under Indian law. You confirm that data you enter (including GSTIN, staff, and customer records) is data you are allowed to process.
Self-serve signup reserves a slug. The 15-day trial starts after you pay ₹2 to set autodebit. Limits: 1 owner, 1 branch, 1 employee. After day 15 the selected plan bills unless you cancel. The ₹2 charge confirms the mandate; it is not the plan price. See the refund policy.
Standard and Premium are hybrid: a platform base plus extra branches, users, and employees. Volume discount applies only to extra branch charges. Annual billing is 10% off. GST is added on invoices. Enterprise (50+ branches, 100+ users, or 500+ employees) is quoted by sales. You authorise recurring debit on the mandate you set at trial.
When you enable the customer storefront, guests are not charged a platform fee. The shop owner is billed on the subscription invoice:
The free quota resets each billing period. Cancelled or voided orders are not billed.
Do not probe other tenants, abuse OTP or Google sign-in, scrape the platform, or use it for unlawful goods. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or threatens other tenants.
KhaataPOS, the khaata mark, and the software are owned by RangSilk Private Limited. You retain ownership of your catalog, orders, and books. You grant us a licence to host that data solely to run the service.
RangSilk Private Limited is not a party to sales between a shop and its customers. The shop is the merchant of record for storefront orders. Delivery, quality, and shop refunds are between the shop and the guest.
The product is provided as a hosted operations tool. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data beyond commercially reasonable backups, or third-party gateway outages. Statutory rights remain unaffected. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. You may stop using the service and cancel billing as described in the refund policy. We may terminate for non-payment or breach.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer protections.
